The Gottani Sisters

Country rock, blues and roots music

The Superior harmonies of the Gottani Sisters have carried them from their hometown of Rollingstone, North QLD to Nashville Tennessee & back.

A sister act comprising of Pauline Tate on guitar & Jennifer Simmons on the guitar & banjo. Their inspiring blend of vocals has attracted much attention in the past and has taken them touring in both the USA and here in Australia.

About the Gottani Sisters

The girls commenced their musical journey up in North Queensland where they grew up by attending country music festivals. In the late 1970's they were a common sight at many of the Country Music festival talent quests as well as appearing at the Charters Towers country music festival.

All of this hard work brought them to the attention of the public, as well as some of the country music greats, leading to support appearances with Slim Dusty, Lee Conway, Redgum & Bullamakanka.

Other support gigs include Johnny Cash, Des O'Connor & Gene Pitney at The Twin Towns RSL Club in Queensland.

They represented Australia in the Seagram International Battle of the Bands in Nashville.

Living & working in Queensland, Australia, they perform a mixture of country, rock, blues and roots music, along with their original songs & trademark sound, The Gottani Sisters called their music New Age Country & hope to catch up with music lovers in the future. A fantastic act with pedigree, style and soul. Always a huge presence on stage they are not to be missed.
