Donella Waters

Raised on Country and Gospel Music and born to sing

Donella has a strong sense of who she is and what she wants to say and uses music and song to get the message across.

Donella took to the country music highway by busking on Tamworth’s very own Peel Street back in 1999, with the folowing years jam packed with recording more albums and touring.

About Donella

Donella’s recording and performing career started back in 1992 where she recorded her first album “Together for Christmas”.  From there, her career went from strength to strength.  With 5 albums (3 Country Radio Single Releases) and many collaborations on other country artists albums, Donella became a regular at the Tamworth Country Music Festival NSW, Mildura Country Music Festival VIC and many festivals around Australia.  She also won numerous nominations and awards as well as appearing on Bert Newton’s Good Morning Australia.

A deliberate break from constant touring and recording saw Donella put her time and efforts into family to become a Mum.

2022 was the year Donella began making a calculated comeback and did so by headlining at the Nanango Country Music Festival QLD in September.
