Walk-Up Artist

The Festival will kick off on Tuesday 7th May with a Walk-Up Artist Program and Talent Competition. This is where Australia’s emerging Country Music Talent have 4 days where they can put their name on the whiteboard and take the stage to show our Country Music Community exactly why they should be crowned the 2024 Capella Country Music Shooting Star. Unlike any other Festival in Australia, the lucky winner of the Shooting Star Country Music Award will also receive the exclusive opportunity to be included in the Festival’s Main Program on the Saturday and Sunday, as well as receive a one-on-one mentoring session from an Australian Country Music Legend.

There is ample opportunity to stay refreshed, with plenty of drinks including tea, coffee and soft drinks readily available.

The festival will also be hosting our favourite Food Vans. Confirmed so far - the Donut Ladies and Full Belly BBQs

Friday Dinner

On the Friday night the Capella Country Women's Association will be putting on a hearty feast for all of our Festival attendees and performers at the Catering Pavilion. Come along and enjoy a beautiful hand-cooked meal while listening to some of the talented walk up artist that will be vying for the prestigious title of being named the 'Capella Shooting Star'.
