Great new attractions for 2021!
Besides our galaxy of stars performing on the Main Stage, the 2021 Capella Country Music Festival will bring more attractions for the whole family. Join us and enjoy some quality time in our beautiful region.
The Festival will kick off with a Walk-Up Artist Program and Talent Competition, at the CWA Dinner on Friday. This is where Australia’s emerging Country Music Talent can put their name on the whiteboard and take the stage to show our Country Music Community exactly why they should be crowned the 2021 Capella Country Music Shooting Star. Unlike any other Festival in Australia, the lucky winner of the Shooting Star Country Music Award will also receive the exclusive opportunity to be included in the Festival’s Main Program on the Saturday and Sunday, as well as receive a one-on-one mentoring session from an Australian Country Music Legend.
FOOD AND DRINKS
The Capella State Primary School and the Capella State High School P&C Teams will keep you refreshed with plenty of drinks including tea and coffee. 2021 will also see the return of our favourite Food Vans and the bar will be open from Friday afternoon through to Sunday courtesy of the Capella Cattledogs Rugby Union Club and the Capella Clydesdales Cricket Club.
Bush Poet's Breakfast
Sunday’s program is a celebration of Mother’s Day and all things country. Come kick off this beautiful day by joining Mum at the Bush Poet’s Breakfast with Gary Fogarty. This is sure to be a morning of laughter, tears and some good ol'bush stories, before the headline acts return to the Main Stage.
Bills Amusements will be joining us in 2021 and he will be bring a tonne of fun rides to the Capella Country Music Festival for kids of all ages. So there will be guaranteed fun and smiles for all of our Little Country Music Fans.
On the Friday Night the Capella Country Women's Association will be putting on a hearty feast for all of our Festival attendees and performers at the Catering Pavilion. Come along and enjoy a beautiful hand cooked meal while listening to some of the talented walk up artist that will be vying for the prestigious title of being named the 'Capella Shooting Star'.
Come and meet Ranger Nick, who is a master of keeping it simple and have been demonstrating camp oven and bush cooking skills for many years.
Coming from a large family, Ranger Nick whips up a cracker of a meal with whatever is in the tuckerbox. He is sure to teach you a thing or two about bush cooking and leave a lasting impression on you while he does it.
